I have been collecting XS650 parts and bikes for many years.
I have the following complete bikes.
1972 (100% Complete but needs torn down and restored)
1973 (90% Complete built as a scrambler with various YZ and XT parts)
1974 (Complete but needs assembling)
1977 (Almost showroom condition, I am seriously considering keeping this one.)
1979 (90% complete but needs assembling)
Street Tracker project 50% complete built from a variety of years.

In addition to the complete bikes, I have a huge inventory of vintage original parts,
Engines, electric parts. wheels, tanks, you name it.
I would prefer to sell everything as a lot.
If you are a serious XS builder, this is a treasure trove.
I live near Denver.
I will not ship.

Don't ask immediately for pictures.

Ask me reasonable questions and prove you are serious.

So how much are you asking?

Well lesse.....
I wrote the top end buildup in TECH.
I rewind rotors at a good price for forum members.
I buy and sell parts with good feedback.
My current bike was in this years calendar.... Miss September.
I'm in KC... a days drive from Denver and I own a pickup and a trailer. Good enough for ya?
So how much are you asking?

Hmmmm.... Looked at the only other comment you've ever made here and it was basically the same ad back in 2018. As skull pointed out then, you never responded to any inquiries. So perhaps you should be telling us about you? This just another feeler ad where you never reply to any queries?

Sorry for being blunt, I just don't want to waste time on tire kickers.
You clearly are passionate about XS650s!
If I were to just put a number on everything today, (except the 1977 bike) it would probably be around $10,000
I am guessing that 1977 showroom clean bike would bring $5,000.
I know that may sound high but there are a LOT of parts here in addition to the bikes.
Just to give you an idea of how much there is....
I currently have all the parts stored in a 22 ft enclosed trailer and it is packed!
The complete bikes are stored in my garage so they are also out of all weather.
Everything has always been kept out of the weather so minimal rust.
In addition to lots of vintage original parts, there is a lot of stuff here associated with street tracker builds.
I did a lot better job collecting parts than building bikes!

That is a fair response.

I did consider selling everything back in 2018 but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I should have just deleted the ad, my bad.

I am serious now.

Anyway, I have been a motorcycle guy for 50 years.

I have been an avid dirt bike rider and "fair weather" street rider.

Collected lots and lots of parts over the years for MANY different bikes.

I had another trailer full of XR Honda parts and a guy did come and buy all of that last year....so I do sell if the offer is right.

I have a few other bikes and parts but by far I have the most XS650 parts.

Owned a 1971 XS650 as a kid and just started collecting parts 10 years ago to build a street tracker.

Life has just gotten to the point where it is obvious this dream is just not going to happen.

Good enough on history for you?

Well, your ask is a bit steep for me, even if I could talk you down 25-30%. Mind you, I'm not questioning your price, that's against the rules... ... just that it's a bit rich for me. So I'm gonna have to pass. Id be interested in the 72 if you go the multiple sales route.... depending on the asking price.
Cheers.
