Out for a run to the autoparts store for some gasket maker to seal up a 6.5hp engine case. On the way back, after some wandering some extra roads, the 75 red mochine started bogging down. Felt like it was running on one cylinder for a short time, then I flipped up the choke on the left carb (only one that has the choke) and that cylinder picked up for a short time. It completely died so I pulled over to side of road. Thinking of past experiences, I popped the tank lid, closed it then it started right back up and made it home the final 3 miles with it running good.
I knew I had disassembled & cleaned the lid early on in the rebuild process, but took it apart again anyway. So I drilled some extra holes in a couple places to help it breath better if that is the actually the problem. Guess I can't wander too far from home for a while. And make sure there's somebody available to give me a ride to get my car n trailer if needed.
