Side Cover Latches

There have been some posts about these in the past, including some novel ways to modify/improve, etc., and also a general feeling that the MikesXS repops may have some durability issues.

That said, the very best solution I have seen here is shown in the attached pic...does anyone know if these are still being offered? Thanks.

Those are nice units. I was able to secure a set from his original run. Unfortunately the maker has not been on this site for a year and half. Best bet is to find some originals somewhere.

This is a good suggestion however I get the thumbscrews with the head attached. Member @DogBunny also has a thread on here I believe using something similar.
