Smoking from right cylinder

My ‘75 was sitting for about 8 months while I re-wired it to a moto gadget M.Unit with an Anti Gravity 4 cell from it’s previous capacitor.

I built this engine up last year and it ran with no major issues.

I found that the right spark plug was dead, replaced that and now I am having problems getting it to idle and have white smoke from the right cylinder (see video). It smokes at all rpm’s, with the higher rpm’s sending out some black smoke. Plugs are oily and wet.

I am pretty sure it’s the valve seals but wanted to get some confirmation from the experts here before jumping at it.

I tore down the top to check the cam chain placement last week, which was off a tooth. Setting it correctly did not solve the smoking or idle.

The current sent up is a HHB complete CDI and PMA wired to a Moto Gadget M.Unit with Anti Gravity 4 cell (please excuse the wiring in the video, the wires are long but will be pruned to a cleaner length later)

VM34s with 17.5 pilots and 180 mains (maybe pilots too small?)

Any insight is appreciated. Hoping it’s valve seals so I don’t have to take the motor out again if it’s piston rings.

Doesn’t sound like both sides are firing. Did you check for spark? You did say one plug was dead but not if a new plug was firing.
The plug on the right cylinder was dead. Replaced both and both are firing. Tested with a spark plug tester AND by heat ( just touching the exhaust and feeling them warm up)

Is it getting air? Sounds strangled.
Mice, mud daubers, stuff gets in the way.
What's it do if you gun it?
White smoke can just be condensation from sitting
depending on where she sits.
I think so? If I rev it I get some black smoke so I think that could be jetting? Unfortunately the white smoke persists past several minutes

I ordered new valve seals today. Hopefully that will help the smoking and new jetting will help the idle dying out?

I wouldn't mess with jetting on a bike that was running good.
8mo sitting, clean the carbs yup.
A full tooth out? Hmmm
Fuel air. and spark at the right time.
Poor electrics can have you chasing gremlins till you lose your mind.
Just a thing to consider if not climate controlled.
Brighter minds will chime in I'm sure.
