This bike is very clean. It runs and rides exceptionally well. Work recently completed includes:
New paint on tank and side covers (matches original Midnight Blue).
Top end: Cylinders bored (1 over); new pistons and rings, new cam chain and guide. Valve job completed on cylinder head including all new valves and valve seals. All new gaskets and seals on top end.
Bottom end: All seals on lower end replaced. Starter gear serviced and new clip installed and tensioned correctly. Oil pump cleaned and drive shaft replaced. Side cases cleaned and polished.
Carburetors cleaned, adjusted, and synchronized.
New points, timing set, recent oil change with new side and sump filters.
New bronze swing arm bushings and upgraded shaft installed.
New brake pads; new clutch cable; new petcocks; tires about 1 year old.
Many NOS Yamaha parts were installed, including most rubber bushings, dampers, etc.
