My friend needed to replace the shaft seals on the carbs on his snowmobile. It turns out they are the same p/n as the ones for my BS38’s (and many others). He found this crazy, low priced source in California. He said he paid $.89 usd each. I think this is the lowest I’ve ever heard of and they are supposed to be OEM Mikuni seals. Thought I’d share…. Maybe they have other carb bits too at a good price?

And what would that part # be? Have you seen the seals and verified they're the same? If they are then I have to order some.

I think this is the part number. I haven’t seen the seals myself but my friend and I exchanged measurements of his seals and my Suzuki seals and they appeared to be the same It’s difficult to measure the soft round seals to get really accurate dimensions. All cross references he researched said the seals are the same. Here’s the application list he found. In any event, it’s worth the postage to try to order some to check them out

I've been doing some research too and it seems the Mikuni part # is BDC36/325, which I never knew before. And further research has revealed that this is indeed the seal we need for our carbs (both BS34s and 38s), so I went ahead and ordered 10. Total, with shipping ($7.51), came to $16.41, or $1.64 per seal. That beats Part Shark's price of $1.77 per seal (which will be more once shipping is added in).

Boy, pricing on these is all over the place, lol. Check these out, $15 each, lol ......
