"SPARE TIME"

Well the foam for the seat arrived so tomorrow plan to finish out the seat pan and see how the foam goes. Pretty good video I'm going to try and mimic the process. Pretty sure the foam is just yoga or camping mat

Did get the seatpan finished and the foam is on. Now I'll find an upholstery shop for shaping and a cover. Thinking tuck and roll.

Yes I made the brake lever oversized. I still have to cut it down and weld on the peg for the brake. Bronze bushings should be arriving today, so depending on the time I'll have the foot controls completed today or tomorrow. The good thing about making it myself is the learning process. I'm learning how everything functions.

Next step is the back half of the exhaust.

Then wiring and mounting the small things.

Then handlebars.

Just an update for you guys. I don't really have time to put in on the bike until about September. But I'm slowly working on the handlebars a little at a time. Have the main part bent so far. I'm going with mainly 1in bars and stepping them down to 7/8 for the controls.

Well guys this is why I changed the name of this build spare time. Used this vacation from work to actually take the kids on vacation.

I have the first week of September off and should have more updates.

Was something pretty cool to see. You definitely don't see that up in NYC.

As you guys can tell if I'm not happy with something I redo it.

Brake lever 2.0 is 90% done. Just threaded rod for the heim joint ends to connect the 2 levers and add of the pedal. But I've got plenty of 1in tube for it.

Not happy that I need to make a sissy bar but don't want the fender touching the tire when I hit a bump. So sissy bar is next

Ordered a new starter solenoid and ordering the wiring tonight to make up a harness.

Getting closer.

I am not affiliated with the YouTube links I'm about to give. But I found these 2 videos helpful for how I'm going to paint the rest of the tank and the fender.
