Still not starting.....

A part of me is thinking that I should just ride it with the coil wires crossed as it runs well with them crossed, but its not right.
I re-inserted the cam shaft with the left piston at the top. Does the piston/valve position play a part as to why it is 180 out?

There is the cam which may be 180 out, then the iggy which is never out on a wasted spark iggy.
Yes piston to valve position plays a part.

Winged and many others have it.

Up to you what you are missing.

Iv'e been a dumbass with this.......I took the weights off, turned the shaft 180 and she's sorted.

Both pistons are up at the same time. If it runs with the wires crossed you have the advance rod in 180 out. I’ve inadvertently done it myself. Easy fix.
