Stock Rectifier position?

I'm in the middle of replacing my old alternator with a PMA. I've got the regulator removed, but I'm not sure which is the rectifier? I know I've seen pictures of it, but my search is turning up nothing! Is what I've seen referred to as the 'relay' that has a similar look as the regulator, on the opposite side of the battery box, the rectifier? Pictures please!

Rectifier is located on the bottom or underside of the battery box. It doesn't look like the regulator. It would be helpful to know what 650 you are working on.

Well my best guess, being that from what he says he has the separate reg and rec. it's a 70-79.
That means the rectifier is under the battery box.
Anyway here's pics of what your stock rec and rec look like.
