My 75 b model has developed a noise whilst riding. On deceleration and gear changes there is a noise from the clutch or gearbox. Sounds like a dry bearing sound or slight grinding .when I change gear if I apply pressure on the gear lever with my foot it makes the sound.
I know it's a vague description folks but what do I check first ?
I'm thinking drain and look at oil. Then off with the clutch side casing ....
Check chain isn't rubbing too as I have a 18 front sprocket.
Any help will be cool.

Hope for luck right there. You apply pressure to the shifter and hear it so the first and easiest place you have to look anyway is under the left cover at the 18 tooth sprocket / chain / chain guider thing. Maybe all the rubber wore off so you now hear the chain on steel ? And check that sprocket nut too.
🤞
