I'm not having good luck with the VR115. Two have gone south on me. The first I chocked up defective manufacturing but now that the second has quit something else happening. It has been suggested that my load is too small for the VR115's application. So the game is on to find a suitable (4 me) alternative.
I spoke with this business and they have recommended the 12 VOLT BOSCH ADJUSTABLE VOLTAGE REGULATOR ITEM# IB301A. They say it will handle 10-200 amp loads and you can set the voltage.
If you don't mind having a look see, opinions appreciated.

Thanks from the rocky hills of mizery where electronics are hoodoo voodoo and smoke to me.
But we like LED's.

I know very little about LED headlights. I do believe they draw much less current than an Incandescent bub.
With an incandescent bulb your bike likely had a load of around 8.5 to 9 amps.
Now with an LED headlight, your bike's load is now down to around 6.5 to 7 amps.
The regulator you list, only works down to a 10 amp load, so it would not be suitable.
