Suzuki Carb Parts for Our 650 Carbs

It's not the install that worries me too much, it's the removal. After they've been in there a while and get all gummed up with gas varnish, they're stuck even more than when first installed. Thankfully, I've never broken a post, but it does worry me as I try and remove a really stuck pivot pin.

As an aside, I ordered a couple MikesXS replacements a while back and they're absolute junk. They're too big and don't even fit, lol. It's Suzuki pins for me from here on out.

Removing pin
I have a small soft nail that is ground flat that i use on the other end
On the picture below there is a head like a nail head
I use a flat small screwdriver in the slot between the post and " Nailhead "
Tapping that screwdriver with a small hammer .
That wedge of the screwdriver exerts force between the post and underside of nailhead.
Driving it out
And not applying bending moment at the bottom of the post.
The wedge force can get large so please be careful .But it has worked for me
Once the pin start moving a bigger screwdriver and twisting or continue tapping in a wedge
Or use the nail from the other side.

I lever mine out using a flush cutter like in the picture under the head. The pin is too hard and big to cut and what happens is when you squeeze it the shape wedges the head out enough that it isn't tight anymore.

I use an automatic center punch. So far, it works every time.

Yes, as I mentioned earlier, it's cheaper to get them aftermarket. They're all over eBay as well.
