My '75 has a mix of wrong parts so I need to find out what tank /petcock) spares I need (both leaking)
So its twin tap with ALFA taps both sides (non vacuum)
The main "O" ring seal that contacts the tank underside is straight sided not the type with extra angle in the middle of the straight if that makes sense.
Parts book for 75 show the angled sealing ring so Im not sure what I have. The tank could be later of course.
What years had twin taps and what years had the "straight" O ring v's the "angled" O ring.
If it helps the tank is held to the bike only by the rubbers ie no bolts anywhere.
TIA (I can't transfer pics right now sorry)

Whats the bolt spacing on the yambits taps? How can you tell mine is a US '77 tank? Is there a tank difference page Ive missed maybe?
Cheers

Tony
Bountiful blue (your tank) was a US colour for 1977. I have the same thing. It's of course possible that it isn't a 1977 tank that's been painted to look like one. The fuel filler cap is correct though.

Hole centres 46mm.
