I made a couple of harnesses up a while back, one for lighting, the other for ignition. As they are thinner than a single 'fat' harness they are easier to route along the frame and should make fault finding a little simpler. Both harnesses were stretched out and wires kept straight so they weren't twisted and then the harnesses were taped with plastic insulation tape. Unfortunately, they didn't come out as planned, despite laying the harnesses out nice and straight, by the time I'd finished wrapping them the harnesses had twists and bends in them. Being secured to the frame via zip ties you don't notice I suppose, but I find it annoying just the same.
Some cloth insulation tape arrived this morning, so when I get further along in the build, I'll re do the harnesses in cloth tape, hopefully they will look better and not have as many bends and twists in them.
