This kinda snuck up on me, so short notice.

This weekend, already a lot of bikes in town.

Scampered over there for a quick scouting mission.
The 20 acre camping area is almost full.

Oh, man, what a crazy weekend.
I had planned maybe an hour or two for this, but ended up there most of the day. About 95% Harley V-twins at this thing.

Parked the ol' XS1B, and had to quickly take a pic. It started gathering onlookers, blocking the shots.

This fellow worked in a bike dealership back in the '70s, somewhere around Fort Worth.

The outside swap meet. Parts and bikes for sale.

The modified Trackmaster frame (for single carb) caught my attention.
Anyone have a pressing need for a Honda 305 nightmare Dream?

Out at the racetrack, strictly vintage (older than 35 years).
1/2 mile flat track races on the infield track.

Too far away for good pics, but from the sounds and what I was able to glimpse of the engines, I'm pretty sure there were several XS-650s mixing it up in there.

And, while the flat tracking is going on, there's the Chopper dirt drags in front of the grandstands.

On leaving, I cruised thru the camping area, then heard people yelling at me. Looked back and saw an XS-650, couple of dudes frantically waving at me.

Well, this calls for a visit.

The owner of this XS-650 works for the Burnet Motorcycle Museum.

It seems that while I'm inside attending the show, there was another show involving my parked XS1B. Interestingly, this XS-650 owner (a dormant member) also knows DogBunny. Small world, huh?

Met a lot of nice folks. An eclectic combination of laid-back Boomers, interested X-geners, enthusiastic Y-genners and Millennials.

I had wanted to go on the Sunday Vintage ride, but too cold for the morning meetup. Plus being a 4-hour ride, and me totally tuckered-out from Saturday's event, I slept in...

Hey, DB.
Yeah, you might've been interested in a box of free stuff at the swap meet. Labeled as XS650 parts, but I didn't recognize the stuff in there, except for a left/right set of NOS BS-34 carb bodies, but I don't know those well enuff...

The fellow that knows you did some business with you 3 years ago, I think for some TX650 parts...
