The stars are aligning correctly for me. Looks like I will be there next week. Gary has been gracious enough to agree to pick me up and split a room.
It's been a bit of a rough year for me, one thing I've had to look forward too is seeing all you guys in the Ozarks. If you have never been there you can't image how much fun it it. The roads are smooth and the pace is good, Sure you won't be able to keep up with @desmoman900 but then could Kenny R?

Never attended and don't know the lore regarding this event (since just joined the forum earlier last year). Sounds like a grand time!
For future reference, do most attendees trailer there and then ride locally, or ?? Is this an open event or by invitation? Are most bikes ridden during the event XS650's, or period Yamahas, or ??. Thanks in advance for answering my dumb questions!

Some of us haul bikes. Some of us prove our metal by riding XS650s from great distances. There is no requirement or shame in a trailer.
If you’re reading this, then you are invited. You may ride whatever you like. If your bike is not an XS650, it has been customary that you keep it out of our photos. Overwhelmingly, we are riding XS650s.
This is not a big rally. Typically, we take up two tables in a restaurant. We are all friends and we do have a great time.

I’ve attended this one 19 times and after a five year hiatus, I will return in 2026. There is still time to get in on this, but lodging will sell out, so you can’t sit on your hands.

Attended last year and had a blast! Totally planned on making it a yearly thing as I’m normally down south in the spring but other things changed that. LSS if you go you won’t regret it. Great group of guys!
Sorry but I need to cancel for this year. Could not get all the problems with the Storm worked out in time.

Vintage Yamaha Rally? Yes. It has only a FB page now. Iron Horse. I plan to go.
Townsend rally? No idea. I’ve heard nothing.
