I just tell them I don't remember any 1200's running around the banking at Daytona, but those damn 883's sure turned my early Battle of the Twins aspirations on the XS to shit.

Long ago I had this fantasy while cruising a long, straight highway. Twist the throttle, and zoom from 70mph to 150mph in a couple of seconds.

Maybe 10 or 15 would still be fun. At Texas World back in the 70's would return back on the oval from the infield before turn 4 in third gear and then into fourth before the banking. Into fifth midway through turn 4 and then down the front straight . Was hitting 8000 rpm with 18/32 gearing. Good times.
