Just discovered the cycle world podcast on YouTube. Mark Hoyer and Kevin Cameron are having these very interesting talks about motorcycles from the past and present. What a wealth of knowledge these two have and they both are very funny! Time well spent listening to motorcycle data lore. This is one on KTM motorcycles I recently watched:

Wow ! Thanks for the link. I am reminded of the bygone "Wheelbase" site (well, sort of ) where Kevin Cameron and the late Gordon Jennings conducted many a discussion regarding engines, performance and theory. I found this synopsis on line which sums it up well:

"WheelBase was nearly priceless to gearheads for a multitude of reasons but for one above all: Kevin Cameron and Jennings filed something on the WheelBase "site" quite often. They'd discuss anything from politics to vintage aircraft to reed valves and their hearty and at times prickly discourse was excellent. It wasn't like today where Assface (FB) and comments on stories will quickly have the reader losing faith in humanity. It was intelligent, well-informed conversation by two legends of the sport."

They are great, the latest on the RD 350 is my favorite so far but they are all good.
I have been reading Kevin’s column since the early 70’s and he is really a treasure trove of knowledge, Hoyer on the other hand lacks the technical depth that Kevin has and thus, a lot of his mechanical details are just wrong.
