This is Bella. She was my baby, best dog I ever had. she ran off 4th of July 2023 when I was working out of town. She was terrified of loud explosive noises, took out a window. We never found her but suspect someone took her home as she could have run to the next county when scared. She was an angel, the two in my profile photo are hell-spawn sent by Satan to torment me for not being there for Bella. That picture is their mugshots from the shelter just a couple of days ago. Their little excursion cost me over 400$. Don't they look proud, Like a couple of teenagers that got caught for doing some sort of shenanigans?

I was checking an old computer for pictures of bikes and found 4 pics of her when she was a pup. I thought I had lost them all when a laptop was stolen. I think she was 5 months at the time

I would like to introduce to you all Whiskey River Bender. One of the best nose bird dogs I have ever had or hunted with. Sadley, I had to make the decision to help him along to the happy hunting ground last week. He was the ultimate outdoor dude. He loved going on motorcycle rides around the neighborhood and logged hundred's of mile's riding on my atv with me at the cabin in northern Wisconsin. He helped my wife's friend's son get his first grouse. I had to constantly bathe him after we ran my trapline. Also per my wife him and I would get into snoring contests together even though I'm sure I don't snore ;)

Bender will be dearly missed

Springer mix?

possibly, I am not an expert, but papers said American Brittney, back in the day I've herd springer spaniel, French Brittney , springer etc. all i know was he was a great dog :)
That's right. they have similar coloration, I've asked that before and got Brittany spaniel as an answer. My first dog as a kid was a Springer and and seeing yours jarred a memory loose. This dog thread gets me all choked up. I would post a picture but that was way before digital cameras and, since joining this forum, I have already made quite a mess of my house and garage looking for old motorcycle pics.
