The inter connectivity of EVERYTHING

You know they cant track you if you turn your phone off...thats what I've been doing...when I go anywhere as long as I dont need to be routed by a map...google maps suck anyway..prefer a real paper map that gives so much more in details...ask anyone who uses a GPS to go somewhere..ask them how they got there..In most cases they dont even know..they just followed the gps

AI vs Amazon?
It's a thing, set course, engage lawyers.

It seems that selling you stuff isn't the real driver for Amazon profits, exposing you to ads to sell you MORE stuff is the money maker. An AI "personal shopper" short circuits that, not to mention it's a route to short circuit amazon out of the equation of buying (many products).
Let the battle commence!

Stay away from Google, Chrome that's all I can say.

I turn off all permissions for the apps on my phone. Obviously some have to have them like camera, then it is only when in use.
Google play services won't let me turn it off, allows me to turn off all permissions bar one. That is physical activity. You know like when I run, walk fast ........

I disabled all the Google apps including Play Store..they didnt like that my phone is constantly messaging me to turn on Google Play...I was using it for Wallet services for when i go out of town..card readers at gas stations and other places are full of phony devices diguised to read your card's data and rip you off...but am totally disgusted with AI on my phone so I am terminating my phones contract and will go back to a "dumb" phone that runs OS that does not have AI ...I really dont need to be connected to the internet by phone..my desktop computer is ...I only need my phone to text and talk with people I know and my workplace..
Something like this...

Elons Pi phone looks to be a good alternative to keep Google and other apps at bay with its next level encryption technology and Starlink secure connectivity.

Need faith to trust Musk to secure data with no ulterior motive.
No one knows what he collects with starlink. He owns twitter, has had, (who knows exactly how much he is still involved with DOGE), access to so much personal information through various US gov't departments, (that don't swap between themselves), medical, social security, tax. Think of the data those 3 departments have on you. He now has that. word is he is making a full on Gov't surveillance system that rivals China.
You have a distrust of gov't, Musk wants to control, the masses. Conspiracy??....think about how he is trying to influence other countries elections to get like minded parties into power
His phones are just as, if not more intrusive than Google
How do you think ICE, can randomly target individuals??

Then I come across this
https://news.sky.com/story/the-x-effect-how-elon-musk-is-boosting-the-british-right-13464487#

Google CEO Sundar Pichai wants to launch AI data centers into space, but in a good way. The company’s ambitious Project Suncatcher aims to replace the earth-bound buildings that are currently a drain on electricity and water with low-orbit satellites fueled entirely by solar power.

Nothing’s launching yet: Google unveiled the plan on Tuesday, classifying it as a moonshot that won’t be feasible until the middle of the next decade. Obstacles include:

  • The satellite clusters equipped with solar panels must be tighter than any current operational satellite constellation, staying within a kilometer to provide optimal power. But Google’s models indicate that satellites only a few hundred meters apart are feasible.
  • The sun’s radiation is great for Superman, but it’s bad for processing units. Google is still testing how much radiation exposure the units can withstand before they fail.
  • It’s harder for satellites traveling at high speeds to remain connected so they can communicate, an issue Google believes can be solved over time.

A test launch is planned for 2027, although Google anticipates the project will become more economical by the mid-2030s.

The new space race? Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos sees orbiting data centers as the most cost-efficient future. Last week, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said his Starlink satellites could possess the same capabilities in the future.—DL

I would like to counter your argument but your posts are always so politically opinionated that I would get in trouble by the moderator but… somehow you continue to get away with shoving your political beliefs down our throats.
I believe Elon is one of the greatest and smartest people in our lifetime.

And that's what they hate..............
Crab bucket syndrome.

Over here it's called .....tall poppy syndrome.
And no, just because I actually believe in freedom of speech and speak out, (not someone who says it then uses his power or influence to shut it down) against allowing corporations from consolidating so much power they are effectively the gov't. Worse because no one voted for them.
Some might argue they always have. Maybe true to an extent, take a good hard look at a graph on the wealth distribution over the last 50 years, especially how the ultra rich are consolidating their power by buying up, controlling all the news...... at the same time telling people other news, science, medicines are bad for you. Lies dressed up as truth, that is controlling what they want you to hear, how you think, and restricts negative, or any discontented voice that questions their intent.
Has musk done good things....yes
Is musk above criticism......no
Do I think musks motives are for the betterment of mankind.....no

Tesla just approved their CEO a $1T target approved, package over 10 years.

Off my head so could be wrong, but being wrong even by a decimal point doesn't make this less mind bungling.

Working a hundred hour week
$1T over 10 years
$100B per year
$2B per week
$200M per hour

That's without a day off and 14.3 hour days.

I guess incentives work.....better than a clip across the ear by the old man to give me an insentive.

Forgive me my crab bucket syndrome🤣🤣🤣🤣

You aren’t paying it. Even if you contribute to the Musk conglomerate, you’re paying market price. It’s not coming from a finite bucket of wealth either. He’s not taking your piece of the pie. He either created that wealth or those who have agreed to pay him did.

Key Facts

Over 75% of Tesla shareholders voted in favor of the pay package.

Shareholders met at 4 p.m. EST, with a final tally from the vote expected to be disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing in a few days.

The payment package will award Musk more than 423 million additional shares, increasing his stake to about 25%, should Tesla achieve several goals over the next decade.

For Musk to receive his full compensation reward, Tesla’s market capitalization must be raised from $1.5 trillion as of Thursday to $8.5 trillion within 10 years, as well as other goals, which include selling 12 million more cars, 10 million autonomous driving subscriptions, operating 1 million Robotaxis and selling 1 million Tesla Bots, among others.

I'm not saying there are not any benifits from Tesla.

Tesla is funded, and success has largely relied on subsidies. As most alternative green based industries

To say it has not cost me/us that is not quite true. Even in Australia tax payers have subsidised Tesla cars and battery stations.

Tax payer funded, bought solar batteries. The owner has no control of and could loose out on funds from electricity sold back to the grid due to musk having operational control of the battery operation.
