Got distracted with a side project. I'm building a work stand. It tilts so no ramp needed to get a bike on and off. It'll be getting casters with leveling feet, so I can move it or lock it in place. Currently working on the wheel clamp.
It's a harbor freight bauer saw in a swag offroad stand. It's extremely useful. I use it constantly, and wouldn't know what to do without it.i like the baby band saw
, some 6" wide steel plate welded on the side for some shelving would be nice, to put wrenches and parts on.Lol, I plan on making a tray that hooks onto the lip of the channel to hold tools and other stuff. I'll also make a platform that drops on so I can stick my jack under a bike too.My, some 6" wide steel plate welded on the side for some shelving would be nice, to put wrenches and parts on.
Other than that though, nice!

Wouldn't be the same, and it would be hard to fixture. Cylinder liners are cast iron, so it cuts different than steel. This cylinder was bound for scrap due to the number of broken fins, so I thought this way I atleast get use from it.I wonder if you could also practice on lengths of heavy wall steel pipe? Just thinking out loud here.
I am on there. I just don't post much.you should come over to the http://forums.sohc4.net/
The filter on my XS sits closer to the ground, and depending on how I do the exhaust it'll be atleast partially covered by that. If I decide to use a smaller filter I might just remake the adapter to be a little more compact. The only other option is to switch to a remote filter. But finding a spot to stick it is hard.Love the filter mod for the workmanship and its functionality, filter well below the frame rails is scary though. I realize its not an off-road bike, but I'd consider some sort of a bash-bar in front of it???
