The Norda

Made new pins. I did scrap 3 of them, the 1.2mm drills are rather fragile. Had much better luck once I changed pulleys on the mill and ran a little over 2000rpm.

Managed to find all NOS brake cam arms for less than it would cost to rechrome the ones I have.

Some of the linkage pieces I made are now available on ebay, they are proud of them, making my own was a good choice.

I also bought an oxy acetylene torch at the swapmeet today. Got it for a good price, so now I can start thinking about trying to make a fender with the english wheel.

"Torches vary wildly in price around me. Mostly from high, to I could buy new for that."

Here in Montreal you have to rent cylinders unless they are the smallest ones, which you can either own outright or rent. I have the small ones, which I own. Got my oxyacetylene torches, regulators, the small bottles and a cart from a neighbor who was moving, in a hurry, I think! He wanted $25, which struck me as reasonable under the circumstances ;).

That's a deal. Here I can buy and own just about any size bottle. But space and cost are a consideration.

Yeah, me tooooo.

I like the Short Circuit Manx tank...:twocents:
I'm leaning towards the mini manx tank because it has a little more bulk and the cb engine is bigger than the norton or triumph twins. Plus I do have the 43mm forks, so the front is a little bulkier. I do like both, but with the cost only 1 will be bought.

Here's a pic of the one cb swapped featherbed I found online. It's got a manx style tank, that's part of what has me leaning towards it.
