Hi.
I'm currently building an engine that has a sprocket type cam chain tensioner.
It seems quite serviceable still.

The motor is a 5a9 serial number. But possible that PO has changed things. The conrods were 256!

I'm only new to these engines so I'm assuming it came like that FM factory??

Cheers.

All 256 engines used idler gear cam chain adjusters. Serial numbers are stamped into the front of the crank case; "5a9" is not one.
