I was putting new exhaust on 650 and I accidentally took the whole chain tensioner out not just unscrewing the top cap now I'm having troubles getting it back in is there something I need to do to be able to put the tensioner back in I haven't moved the bike since I popped it out so I haven't moved but it's it's really difficult to get back in

Not sure - but given the chance of massive engine damage if you get this wrong, I would go slow and do NOT try to start the engine before you roll it over a couple or five revolutions with spark plugs out - and do it very gently by hand (do not use the kicker or the electric starter).
