I bought a 81 bobber earlier this year that didn't run. I've been working on getting it running and it's almost ready to ride. It come with Wild Flare tires on it, but they're from 2007, so I'm not going to trust that on my first ride out, so I'm in need of new tires. I'm definitely budget-minded but I also don't want to buy something that is crap. Although I like the look of the IRCs, I don't know anything about tires, so looking for input from the experts. Below are the tires I'm leaning toward. Which of these 4 are best for rain or shine? Any of them that you would stay away from? Appreciate your guidance!

I ran Shinko 712's and they stuck to the road like glue. Unfortunatly they love to follow tar snakes too. 230's less so. I'm running 777 now and they could care less about road irregularities. They just roll over whatever is there like they don't exist. Traction is great!

I'm down to choosing between the IRC Wild Flare and the Avon Cobra Chrome, leaning toward the Avon based on reviews (not a lot of reviews on the IRC). Any final thoughts on these two? Anybody have any experience with the Wild Flares?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, especially with the $60 off a set of the Avon. Gotta be frank here, I'm a little concerned with the flames theme with the IRCs. They're kinda lame (but oddly I'm still attracted to them), and I don't wanna be sending out the wrong vibes. Seems a little flamboyant, but let's be real here... what's not about a bobber 😁
