Not much to do with the chilly, windy weather we’ve been having so I made a rolling wrench rack to use in the garage. I have my main tool collection in the house, but my garage tool box is cramped for space. When I work on the bike I’m constantly walking back and forth to my tool chest and rummaging though the drawer to find that right sized wrench. So I got the welder out, found scraps in the garage and made this wrench rack for my “garage” metric wrenches. I’ll also add a socket tray holder to it too. This will come in handy when I’m working on the bike on the lift. Thought it might be a silly idea but already used it working on the Beetle today.

p.s. No comments on the cold welds pls. Lol. The other sides look better.

I like your idea. Now you will be guaranteed to locate any dropped nut or washer on the floor.

I have the same type of setup 2 of them actually. but without wheels. I carry it to where I use it mostly outdoors
Dont miss the possibility to have tools on the other side of the " plank " also
I have hammers of various sizes in loops of electric wire there .
On the post I have shelves and a 2x4 with holes drilled for Screwdrivers
A tin can attached for bolts and small stuff drills and center punch.
I write the wrench size with a marker pen above the Nail

Yes I was planning to hang other tools on it too. Very little invested in it so if I put everything back in the toolbox that’s ok too.
