It should fit the '75 frame but the 34mm '75 fork tubes won't fit. The SR500 uses 35mm fork tubes like the '77 and later 650 forks.

Are you planning to use Clip on`s or regular bars? Old School Speed sells a 35mm top clamp only, for both. Keep in mind your front end will sit about 1 1/2" lower if you use a flat upper clamp.

Yes, the tree should mount in your '75 frame with '77 or later 35mm forks. But along with the forks, you will also need the later disc and caliper. Your '75 caliper won't fit on the '77-on forks, the mounting hole spacing differs.

Yeah I plan on using clip ons. Also the flat upper means I wouldn't have to take to forks apart to lower the front end with spacers
?

Running a drum front also I'm thinking my forks are 35mm. This was a tracker project I picked up. And the fork tubes have the fork cap nut that sticks up not the recessed allen type.
