Do I need to remove these pins to pull out drum? We got one pin out but the other two remain. Is there a special tool?

If you are referring to the pins that the cotter pins hold in than yes they have to come out. I had good luck with a magnet and a lot of working back and forth. Dont loose the small bushing/ bearing on the end of the pins that fit into the shift drum.

Ok all I got out is the one pin and all clotter pins. I don't see a small bearing or bushing on one we got out or need to look again. Any idea what the bearing or bushing looks like? So your saying there's 3 parts or 9 parts total to the 3 forks?

I looked in parts diagram and there is just a number 13 and 14 in diagram. Just 6 parts total so confused about bearing or bushing you mentioned. I tried a magnet to get number 13 out but it's a weak magnet. They're labeled number 13 for a reason. Unlucky. They're in there good.

We got them out using a pick in the hole of the pins and on middle one we used a pick threw the drum side there was a gap to get threw so the hardest one turned out the easiest.

Now for the Japanese part- practicing patients the waiting game for new clotter pins to come in mail. I figure the hardware store has some but I wanted to make sure get exact ones.
