Two items ... advise from the group

I was polishing the exhaust on my 82' 650.. stock.. and discovered the first hint of internal blistering... so.. these are toast.... It'd be great f Mike's Xs would carry the stock system for the Special's.... what is the options,... ? I'd like to retain the stock look....
I have a few electric rotors that are suspect... I'd like to get them to whoever rewinds them.... stock for fellow Xs members Thanks

Nice Special exhaust systems come up on eBay from time to time.

I'll round them up... toss photo on here... I'm just going to send them to the fellow for his stock... it does seem these 82' are hard on rotors...

My buddy got this standard last spring.... nice bike..... great runner,..... he's going to change exhaust ... 2 n 1 style... I'm not a fan of that system.... Thus, bike has a Special exhaust system... but we checked it out...looks nice but a rub down showed it's starting to bubble.... AAAAAAAAAaaarrrgh ..... Stilll looking for rotors.. found only 2... though we had more....

Happy to send better pics if you’re interested, but it sounds like you’re looking for something a little nicer…some road rash, some blistering at the tips.
They are functional, but my not be worth the price of admission..
Or shipping in this case.
