Unable to set timing. Possible cam chain problem?

I see you have the notorious type D tensioner. I like to say that the "D" stands for "Deadly", lol. If you plan on keeping the bike, I would upgrade the tensioner assembly to a type E. See my post #22 in this thread for the "how and why" .....
