The telemetry shows one then several engines going out before the planned shutdown. 
Youjust became a rocket scientist...I'm not a rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure that panel ain't sposed to be floppin' in the breeze like that...

FAA may have something to say about that. Not to mention the Brits, who aren't all that happy with Elon anyways.

If it was a NASA craft all scheduled flights would b cancelled till a full investigation was done.

A big difference between Musk and NASA is Musk is a lot more transparent. We have no idea how much stuff NASA blew up before Alan Shepard went into space and back.

Sure we do. In the heyday of the space program there were literally dozens of reporters assigned to the Kennedy complex. Even if NASA wanted to keep secrets (they didn't), rockets going up off launch pads is kinda hard to hide from reporters looking for the "big scoop." ...and going BOOM is even harder to hide.
I didn't mean just launches. Testing engines and other stuff. They had a lot of failures in there engine testing. Also 10 out of the first 20 Mercury flights were uncrewed flights were partial failures or complete failures.Sure we do. A major network news blip this morning reported a spaceX launch failure and Blue origin's successful launch. Okaay.
Yeah I suspect there will be some new path to orbit routing and restricted areas for at least a while.

PS there's an incredible amount of telemetry we don't know about. With the close link up to starlink that candle sprays tera?bits of info back to SpaceX.
My guess is they will have enough information to be able to get a pretty good fix on where the issue was. Probably internal video and a massive number of sensors in that area.
To be fair Bezos will need some time to unpack their data also.

NASA did the work if those facts and Information is Kept Secret which they can be.

The close up of the booster on the mechazilla arms, slowly pivoting back n forth, gets to me, the long period of the oscillation lends some scale, that thing is GI-normis!
Bringing the booster back to exactly where it started and then catching it while it basically hovers above its take off spot to me is a hell of a achievement. They have done it not jut once but twice. That amazes me.
