Hi everybody,
I been trying to find the source of some top end noise and when I was setting my valves (.06mm intake, .15mm exhaust) I noticed some damage to one adjuster screw. Someone told me its possible to put the screw in a drill and polish it back with sandpaper? I think this ones too far gone as iv read that the hard layer on these is very thin. I know I can get a replacement from Mike's but I seen a few posts here about them being soft and poor quality. Anywhere else I might look? other than ebay.

I ordered 2 pairs of these.

Spendy, but no need for any material removal on the rockers, as is the case with the Porsche/ VW elephant foot adjusters. Most likely lighter as well. I just assume that XT/ SR500 cams, rockers and valve springs are at least as tough on the adjustment screws as any XS650 will be.
Time will tell.

those Kedo ones are I I believe called a flat ball set screws, or something like that, you’d probably find that McMaster Carr or someone sells them at more reasonable prices.
