Valve Adjustment

I bought a 1977 XS650 back in April. No spark, not running. A street tracker with unknown engine mods. So far I know it's now a high compression 750 with Mikuni slide carbs and what I think is a Pamco electronic ignition.
I have gotten it to run but working on getting it to run better. Wanting to adjust the valves but finding conflicting info on line concerning clearance. What is correct valve adjustment for this year?

Recommendation for all years are .003" intake and .006" exhaust.
