Vape Sales... I will no longer be selling these, only because you now can buy close to my price and with direct shipping you might even save a couple of dollars. Now as many of you who have used these know they are the best system out there. The company started in 2019 and I have been using and selling since 2007. They are to my knowledge the 1st crankshaft timed system. You do not even need a cap or battery. I cannot stress enough how great these are. Unlike many other units they did not trial and error at the customer dime on their system. If you build a good produce and good quality, you never have to change. The quality I have tried to show in the picture. no one else is as good and reliable, In all the 16+ years I sold and used them only have had one call back and that was because he ripped the sensor off. That was a 277 ignition. They took care of it. They also have an adjustable advance unit which has come in handy (anyone else have that?) It's your dime use it wisely. They system below is for a TT500 the XS650 is same quality. As I am not selling anymore and have no stake in the game, just want the best for all builders.

Thanks Gary! Sorry to see you discontinue their line, but they do have pretty good direct service from CZ nowadays (so understood). Hang in there please!

My intention is to convert to the Vape at some point for the XS2 which will probably be this summer to replace the Pamco unit. The Pamco has been reliable but I think the Vape would be a nice upgrade, and is crank driven. I have a vape on the RD350 and has been great.

Thanks for the info you have supplied over the years

Is there a link. I found Vape from CR but the site is very baisc has next to no details for different models or prices

Do you have any stock at the moment or have you been placing orders as you go.

I just installed the vape ignition/charging system in my XS1b, it doesn't mention if the spark plug gap should remain the same or widen for electronic ignition. I'm guessing the B8ES plugs are still ok to run as well?

It started first kick by the way with the stock plug gap.

The standard gap will work just fine; on more modern plugs that is .032-.035". Yamaha updated the spark plug spec in the mid-'70's to a projected tip plug and the XS1 can also use those BP7ES-BP8ES and with the standard VAPE non-resistor plug caps, you can run a resistor plug BPR7ES or BPR8ES (the non-resistor plugs becoming scarce).

Thanks, I bought about 20 of the B8ES plugs when I heard they were discontinued. My 68 Triumph, 70 XS1, 71 XS1b, 72 Honda CB350 and 72 XS2 all take the same plug!
