Hey all,

I can't find hardly anyone local who offers vapor blasting, so I was wondering if anyone is interested in my vapor honing services? I have my cabinet set up and it's giving good results so far, just need to some different parts to get sizing down. I'm in Hurst, TX, but don't mind parts being shipped in.

I think the parts look pretty good. I think the barrel photo shows the left barrel clean and the right barrel in it's original state.

The aluminum surfaces don't look as rough as they would after shell blasting much less soda or sand blasting.

Would love to see photos of your setup.


BTW the two into one looks great on Old Brown.

It's only for comparison sake, in process to show the contrast. As more parts get finished, more pictures will show up. Also note, finish in person is different than in pictures, but good feedback nonetheless. The process absolutely provides an improvement in aesthetics.

Some parts I did for a fellow member's XS1100. Came out very well and he was quite pleased. Revealed some fixes to the cabinet that are needed, but nothing crippling!

Especially like the before and after pics.
I love my vapor blaster (I converted a sandblasting cabinet). Big difference in parts I vapor blast compared to those to big for the cabinet that get media blasted. Those small markings, numbers, and or letters are usually degraded on parts when media blasting.
The finish is much better with vapor as well.
Glad to see you are having success with yours and getting it dialed in. Nice work.

SLOWLY, kind of... it's HUGH's old motor, so i'm just trying to fix all the issues brought up from the owners between Hugh and me.

Got the motor blasted up. Next up is a GOOD cleaning and re-assembly can start
