Saw an advert on Facebook yesterday for a '71 Honda CB450... no title, $1200.
Not needing a Honda 450, I clicked on it anyway... like you do. :er:
Anyway, turns out the little CB comes with a sidecar...

Sent the guy a message asking if he would let "just" the chair go for say... $400? His reply was "Hell yes!!"
Fuck me, what have I done....
About Two and a half hrs east on the dreaded I-70. There and back and here it sits in my driveway.

It's a 2002 Velorex model 562, no damage, looks to be mostly there.... now what? :cautious:

I found very little literature on calculations and construction practices for building a sidecar rig.

For those who can read German, I wholeheartedly recommend these books:

- Das 1 x 1 für Gespannfahrer
Grundlagenwissen über Krafträder mit Beiwagen

- Motorradgespanne im Eigenbau Band 1
Fachwissen rund um das Motorrad mit Beiwagen

- Motorradgespanne im Eigenbau Band 2
Fachwissen rund um das Motorrad mit Beiwagen

- Fragen und Antworten
Fachwissen rund um das Motorrad mit Beiwagen

These books are published by Syburger Verlag GmbH
https://shop.tourenfahrer.de/motorrad-literatur/1-x-1-gespannfahrer
but can also be found on eBay etc.

Worth every cent, IMHO!
