One for the two stroke fans. It is difficult to explain to younger people just how big a deal the Marlborough series was in NZ motorcycle racing. Also a bit of a laugh to see the almost non existent crowd control on the street circuits.

The wee video underscores the point I made a few times - you shouldn't think how much the bike owes you, it's how much you owe the bike for a host of intangible but very real returns.

All Balls steering head tapered bearings are IMHO a must do - samo bronze swing arm bushing, decent shocks
You may note he did not put oil in the forks either. Fork oil is a routine maintenance item. He did get a dead bike on the road PDQ.

Fork springs also are almost certainly in need of replacement and "since you're in there' the seals should be freshened up as well. KUDOs for what's been done, it is a good start on a sweet daily rider.
