It was our annual swap meet today and I intended to sell much and but little but it didn’t work out that way. I did sell some tools but also came hone with a small table top drill press, belt sander, mitre saw, a pair of forks, headlight, fork oil and a cool little jack. Great deals on the stuff I bought it doesn’t fit in the plan to downsize my inventory.

Without taking a bunch of measurements do the forks look familiar? 35mm tubes. The axle diameter is quite small and the discs appear to be quite small too
Stock air caps will put it early 80's 79 -83 mebby. Showa was often associated with Honda. With axles directly under the tube prolly a standard not a "custom" That's all I got.
RZ350 seems likely

I was guessing Honda too. With the small axle diameter I figured it must be a small displacement bike. I paid good money for it. I hope I didn’t make a mistake. Forks and s new bottle of DOT4 brake fluid for $2 Cdn. How could I say no.

For our American friends, Mastercraft (saw, drillpress) is the house brand of Canadian Tire Corp., which is an autoparts/home hardware/sporting goods/paint/household goods retailer, Canada-wide.

Not a bad retailer, when you learn to shop there selectively. You could go there, pick up lawn seed and ferilizer, a lawnmower, a new hockey stick, get your skates sharpened, buy a fishing license and some lures, some shotgun shells, get a gallon of stain for the fence, a new frypan and a set of proper kitchen knives, a set of brake rotors and pads for the truck, some welding rods and MIG wire, autobody supplies and a set of very decent wrenches or sockets and some tires, all in one go!

My $20 drill press actually has a nice little keyless chuck too. Bonus!

Sad to report my headlight acquisition is not compatible with my Suzuki. That’s ok tho I’ll keep it and maybe mod the brackets one day to fit. If tgr bulb in my current headlight gives up I can poach the brackets off of it to fit the new sealed beam unit.

Reminded me of this joke...

More pics of my haul. Cleaned up a bit and all tested well. The belt sander is light duty but should be good for the number of times I’ll ever use it. All of this for $65 👍🏻

The drill press is a toy sized tool but saves me digging out my floor mounted Rockwell drill press when I only need to drill a couple of small holes.

Checked out the forks with my new intel in mind. The numbers are supposed to be -0 and -1for left and right but both are -0. I thought maybe I had a pair of one side only but looks like they’re ok. I might put the up first sale to see if any RD guys could use them or I could keep them until next year for our annual rally and swap meet.
