vm36 27,5 pj, p6 Nj, 190 Mj

overall i feel the bike is running too rich - rough riding at 1/4 throttle
and a dead spot at full Throttle..

also the sparkplugs are BLACK ..

now - should i start with changing the Needlejet to a P5 and take it from there?
or should i start with mj and the pj?

thanks..

Right, there's a very, very minor difference between P5 and P6, that isn't where the trouble lies. 190 MJ is a bit on the rich side, but not enough make the motor cut out at WOT; that's probably due to fouled plugs, ignition function, or fuel level. The PJ is definitely too rich. Get both 22.5 and 25 and see which works better. Re. MJ, get both 180 and 185 for testing. Buy 3 more pairs of plugs and be sure to work with fresh ones. As figure8 wrote, straighten out the PJ selection first, then move on the the MJ and make one change at a time.
