Thanks Jim. My son, new XS owner, site lurker, had a garage mishap while rebuilding his carbs. Efforts to straighten the shaft were unsuccessful. He hopes to attend the Ozarks Rally. Hopefully that will work in his '80 carbs.

Well... it's kinda steep... maybe he sprinkled gold dust on it ... but it looks like the correct one for a -34.

He has seen junk BS 34 for $50. All he needs is the shaft. His bike ran good in Tennessee at the Rally until a float sank. He figured go through the carbs while they were apart and a Jeep ran over that shaft.

I have some too. (If you’re still searching) I’m getting away from CV carbs with rubber diaphragms/parts. I’m starting a love affair with Amal's and Mikuni mechanical pull Roundslide type. Lol CV carbs aren’t junk but I’m finding out the rebuild and consumable part cost puts me only about $100 away from Roundslides.
