Welded Frame, Bike wont start.

Had to look back.....5000 Ohm caps. You can recheck on 20,000 Ohm scale. The 1 or 2 on 2K scale don't sound right.
 
If that is with cap removed, then they sound like 0 Ohm cap (non-resistor) that's OK for now.
 
No disagreement, enlarged pic couldn't tell. Can't explain the findings
 
Nope. But I did look at pics again; upside down, lower left of bench test, perhaps laser printed. 5Twins has VERY sharp eyes!

Do you want to press-on with "tapping test" or break and charge battery?

Just to re-clarify; what we're attempting to do is have everything hooked as normal - except Orange from coil - power-up, verify voltage to ground @ R/W at coil.......then "tap" orange wire to bare ground to simulate ignition - check sparking @ plug cap to grounded spark plug

So wait, the orange that is connected to the coil at all times, or the orange thats currently on the bike that gets plugged into the coil?
 
Yes, orange connected to coil, not harness orange. (Sorry was bleeding brakes)
 
Well, crap; that's pointing to a bad TCI Unit. No spark would have implicated the coils/caps as guilty.
 
Hey all. I got the gonzo unit and wired it up. Still having no luck at all. At the same place, flipped polarity too and got nothing
 
Well, crap! I've got zero experience with that Igniter. You've been through everything up to that. Perhaps post pics of your install from harness to the Gonzo (Suzuki?) and review the pdf in post #2. While waiting for Gonzo experienced help - I'll stand by for a bit
 
Here’s my wiring setup! I followed the 8-6 pin conversion and I’m not getting any luck
