That's good. At full charge (low battery), the rotor pulls right a 2.3A - 2.4A at about 14V.At about 2000 rpm .... current in field circuit about 1.25 amps and voltage 13.3... rpm increase and regulated voltage at just under 14.2 and current drops to under an amp.

I’m using NAPA Legend AGM. The one in my XS650SK is seven years old. Having a couple of NAPA stores nearby doesn’t hurt either. The one in my XS1100 is four years old. It doesn’t seem worse for a lot of sitting.It's an inexpensive AGM battery
