@gggGary Got these new carbs supposedly for xs360. They do appear to be the same carbs I’ve currently got on the bike. Only difference being the top caps are labeled slightly different, and the float bowl is stamped 2 rather than mine which are stamped 1. But I’m assuming this is just two different molds for the same part.

sadly, that is not it. seems there are more than one needle jet titled x-6. i found another forum on this topic exactly, and it seems like the z-8 mikesxs sells is a good modern day equivalent. with that said... i ordered those and hopefully they will work out! thouggh the carbs didnt have the jet i wanted- my main carbs have a damaged choke which i can replace with these new ones! ...pending your previous post about them maybe being slightly different. stay tuned! i appreciate your responses so much,
Nope, that's the wrong type or style of needle jet.
The Z-8 needle jets are going to be way too rich. Mikuni needle jets are designated by a letter-number code. The higher the letter is in the alphabet, the bigger (and richer) the jet is. Each letter also can come with up to 10 different numbers (0-9) following it. Again, the bigger the number, the larger (richer) the jet is. So, the Z series is 2 letters above the X series, and that will make any of them much richer.

I ran into the same issue with a 1982 KZ1100 im working on. The needles are unavailable anywhere. Lucky I can run 1983 jets and needles which are different than the 82 but will work. Lucky a friend had those as those are also unobtainable.

I was referring to the eBay link. Those are the wrong style or type. The MikesXS Z-8 is the proper type but the wrong size.

Seems I’ve got the flat bowls matching the left type in your image, the VM22
Air passage is identical between what I have and what I I got from eBay
