Road grader story, My township and Devils Lake state park ended up in court about who owned the roadway.
Town brought in paid bills from a farmer for grading the road with a team of horses sometime before 1900 (they don't throw anything away).
Town said we DO NOT pay maintenance for anything we don't own.
They won.

Cool history ! This is just the sort of historical information that makes diving deep into the background of an item so interesting!

Here’s one. I actually have no idea myself. This ended up in my stuff that came home from my last trip to the southern shop. In a metal box so I know it’s older. 20C863AE-EF94-43CD-8AA8-880CD516075F.jpeg47B4D28D-4464-4B97-B6BE-E65DF05EC0D9.jpeg0C95D4FA-B757-487D-B9DF-13A278477BCC.jpegE590405E-A592-4727-BE2D-615D1308B72C.jpeg505D01CE-1E86-4C82-8C65-869823A7B1E8.jpeg

The first one appears to be a pin press for pressing out things like roll pins.

The next-to-last might be a hand reamer if the flutes on the bottom are hardened.
