Thank God storm Cornell sailed past South Wales and South of the UK.
Our South Wales river systems are beyond maximum capacity. Storm Bert destroyed many homes and businesses last week. Mountain rain run off will now be the next challenge. Luckily my home is unaffected; my heart goes out to all those people affected.

No Motorcycle weather nor Car Weather
Just a few degrees below freezing
Some Snow for a few hours ---About 2 inches here Traffic Problems Long haul trucks sliding and getting stuck went sideways ---cars stuck. Perhaps a night in the car for some Bus Traffic stopped Sunday forecast + 10 Celsius and rain

Christmas card pretty and damping sound
As you said, Christmas-card pretty. I love the look of snow the morning after a big storm, especially when the clouds were cleared by a cold high-pressure front bringing clear skies. Its dealing with the mess that I am less thrilled by!

First snow in Montreal today. No accumulation to speak of, but the ground is white.

Same picture, different year. Half of the snow has already melted. Maybe Mailman will send us a pic of that sunny 70 degree golf course with palm trees and green fairways (year round)?

I’ve thought for a long time that Kansas weather was extremely…..
Whatever you choose to finish that sentence with, fits. Stay warm!

Twist my arm! 😄 60 degrees at 10:00 AM, on its way to 77 degrees this afternoon. We are about 10 degrees above normal for this whole week. Edit: the really pretty views, are only accessible by golf cart or hiking trails.

2 Degrees and Cloudy at 3:45 in SW Ontario
So on the last grass cutting session of the season, my 3 year old well-branded electric lawnmower decided its dual fully charged 20 amp batteries would not power the brushless motor. Had to revert to my ancient Craftsman with Honda motor in it to finish the lawn.
Today I used to turkey baster to empty the tank and still had enough gas in it to cut another 8 rows.
The only repair depot for the battery mower is in London, 90 minutes away and it says it's not fixing mowers this time of year and besides, the parts are back ordered. But they did give me a "guaranteed repair cost" of almost $500.00. What a way to ruin a brand for me.

Today a lull between two Atlantic weather systems. Cold but clear & dry.

Succumbed to temptation to take Polly to Galashiels. Petrol, potatoes and peppers. Some places the roads were at least dry, but also a lot of slimy, salty, slippy sections so had to ride a bit tippy-toes. But home safe.

One filthy Kawasaki on our return:

Might even wash before pushing back inside . . .
