Here in the land of the eternal sun burn, we are a bit of a broken record. Hot and dry hot and dry hot and dry.
The hottest December on record, we just had a couple of 80 degree days and no rain in sight.

30c at present. Just after 6 p.m. & getting the 3 cylinder bike out to head to the Pub to catch up with some old mates for Christmas.

Met up with three primary school mates last night I have known since the age of 5 years?
Two of which I have not seen for ten years. God how time flies.
Good night had by all and date set for next get together. We are all now 63 years young!

Mild, windy, stormy. Errands took me to Galashiels again today, quite exiting in a gale of 50-70 mph winds. The weather kept changing from clear sky to looming black clouds rushing in to squally rain and back to clear sky again.

But great to be out on two wheels on the shortest day of 2024.

How's my weather? Freakin' COLD! 7°F this morning (-14°C) Shop is heated and I have a project in mind, but I'm not sure I want to brave the trip down there. We shall see.

She’s a chilly one today. Early morning it was -17C and now it’s warmed up to -14C. I think we have a couple of cold ones in front of us but next week it’s supposed to be +5-6C. Crazy weather. I’ll take the warmer stuff though.

58 degrees this morning at 9:00 AM, clear and sunny on its way up to 75. The wife said “Oh no! I forgot to buy a tomato at the store! “ No worries , says I, gives me an excuse to take the long way to Trader Joe’s!

Was about 8 degrees on the jobsite today. The most I did all day was in the portajon attempting to remove 2 inches of hog through 4 inches of Carhartt. Also an obligatory I hate you Bob
