Whats your weather right now?

Looks to be about 2-3". And that's just the start. Heavy bands of snow still to come.
Oh... and it's currently minus 1° ☹️

We’re looking for 3F way down here! Retirement to a shack in the Caribbean looks better and better. At least until the hurricane comes.

Retirement to a shack in the Caribbean Florida looks better and better. At least until the hurricane comes. Well, at least three did since September 2022; Ian, Debbie and Milton. Don't need to tell you about the damage caused...

It’s starting to finally clear up in Ontario, yesterday I had to bulldog through a huge drift that caught me by surprise due to whiteout conditions, we even had a plane flip over yesterday on the runway
And everybody survived due to the fast response of the emergency crew. Massive kudos to them! You got good people up there.

+1 for Subi's in the snow. Had a 1990 Loyale Wagon. Better in the snow than my Cherokees.
My F150 is 4X4, ABS and Traction Control. Her Subaru is hands down the winner. 'Cept when there's feet's of snow down. Truck'll plow through, I'll guessin' the Subi sits too low for that stuff.

:agree:, the F150 is OK and will plow through the deep stuff, but in terms of overall stability in snowy conditions, I'll take a 4-wheel drive sedan any day. In my case, my wife's Audi A4. Back a few years, my MB R500. Now that was a beast! You would never think it, but that vehicle has waaay more interior seating space and comfort than a Suburban or Tahoe.

Just to add to the other end of the scale, IMO, a 2-wheel drive pickup in the snow is the epitome of uselessness, unless you add lots of weight in the box.

Still minus double digit degrees C but next week should be warmer. We had quite a bit of snow over the past week and there’s quite a bit on the roofs of the garage and house. Ice dams were forming which are never good so I got out my roof rake and removed 20-36” of snow above the eavestroughs. Hopefully this will allow the snow and ice to melt before doing any damage.

Had to do a bit of grocery shopping for Sue, so I thought it only fitting I took her Subaru. That thing is an unstoppable beast in the snow.
Color me highly impressed. 🚙
I’ve got an old Forester with manual transmission. I definitely like the Subaru. Just the same, I’m staying home today. It appears we have more ice than snow.

.... I awake these AM's to teens below zero....... my Kia Soul is downstairs with heated parking here at condoville... My 3 winter two wheel projects are on ...hold.... When I do venture out, I notice my Nissan Frontier parked outside.... I make attempts to clear the global warming off .... so far the condo snowplow hasn't buried it..... Next week we'll be in the high 30's.... and I'll take it out for a rip...... Bought new... now 150000..... great truck..... except for tires... brakes.... no issues... 😎

Change in the weather. For weeks it's been cold, about 0 - 2°C by night and not much warmer by day, reaches a high of maybe 4°C.

But today, 10°C (18°F) warmer. Felt milder even on my daily walk before the Sun was up.

Saw two otters swimming in the River Tweed, which always makes my day.
