I'm a bit confused as to how mid 60's is "excessive heat".
The algorithm got latched on to the Celsius warning?I'm a bit confused as to how mid 60's is "excessive heat".

Spent a few summers in the Mojave desert (Edwards AFB). Felt like you were riding in a blast furnace... the faster you went, the hotter you got. With a good breeze you would know how it feels to be in a air fryer.
So is my oven!Yeah…..but it’s a dry heat.![]()
Minus 5C in the "winter" isn't much to complain aboutyou guys are getting our usual summer weather, enjoy.........
Remember winter? Canberra has experienced its coldest run of temperatures in 36 years, with the mercury dropping below zero (C) for the seventh time in a row. The minimum temperatures have averaged minus five so far this month. So in my shed it's been like a bloody freezer.
I just watched Freddie Dobbs ride to the top of Norway. With long daylight the exception, summer there looks like winter here.Minus 5C in the "winter" isn't much to complain about![]()
As is a blowtorch. So is my oven!
If there is any Hydrogen in the fuel, then there will be H2O released...I was referencing an oxyfuel setup....
That's where the carbon dioxide comes in... it's an inert gas, like argon or helium. And just like any inert gas used for welding, it excludes oxygen, water vapor... whatever from the weld as it cools. That's what prevents contamination.Would that not contaminate the weld then and lead to porosity?
