Snow snow snow and more snow.
Hah, reminds me of a guy in the Scottish Borders near the village of Leadhills. He was the only guy with a snowplough on his tractor and he had a contract from one Local Authority to plough from the village to the boundary. The neighbouring LA paid him to plough from the boundary to the next village. Here is my snow removal operation.... not yet this yr... the river you can see is the canada/us border
Yep!This pretty well sums it up.

That there is an impressive bit of real estate! I'm envious.A little longer drone video with a better look at canada /us border .... Rainy River
... so seven hours of daylight. Pretty grim. We're at that time of year, dark and miserable. Dark till 8 am, dark again at 4 pm. Official sunrise today 8:37 and sets at 15:38.
It's 2 o'clock in the afternoon and I'm sat here with the light on. Need a light on to do anything any time of day in December.
Not particularly cold, blowing a gale as usual of late, occasional flurries of rain rushing through. But dark and miserable.
Also in canada .... but north western Ontario... I started a walking routine after a knee replacement 4 yrs ago now ... 5 km per day every day and it is had it's biggest positive effect this time of yr , just getting out during daylight hrs and getting some of that natural vitamin d.... so seven hours of daylight. Pretty grim.
-6 C*, 21 F* in Montreal, snowing off and on, sun up @ 7:26, sun down @16:10. Not much better than the Scottish Borders, considering that Montreal is on the same latitude as Lyon, France, Venice, Italy and Portland Oregon.
We just don't get that kind of cold here. Zero or minus C happens but 0 F or less pretty much never.Up to 0F this morning with a pleasant W breeze at 8MPH.
Dang compared to you it was positively warm here this morning.here's what we have from today to the 22nd. The Cold snap that hits in Jan to Feb .Have to see if I can find the OLD pic of my thermometer on the outside of the living rm window that read 53 below Zero F. BUT iT'S A DRY COLD.

The field at the rear of me is occupied by two donkeys that have no frciking shelter. It's not been sub-zero so far, but it's not been very warm either.Horses are alive and moving, but I wouldn't say they look happy.![]()
