Whats your weather right now?

We had a cold front and finally warmed back up. 80s today, 90s tomorrow. Yay!
But ... the weather girl is predicting 37 for Monday. WTH? So the bike will stay in the garage. :(

Hatches are battened down, airplane tiedowns checked and double checked, generator is staged and ready to go all in anticipation of the dire doomsday frontal passage forecast for the mid-Atlantic this afternoon. Calling for heavy T-storms and winds up to 70mph. And I just moved into a place in the woods ...

Those 70mph winds blew through here last night. Left this crap in it's wake. Solid ice.

Doesn't look like the XS500 will stick its nose out of the garage until April here in Winterpeg.
Kissed -27C last night. -21C forecast tonight.
Not a ton of snow to melt, but enough that above freezing highs forecast for later this week will just make the roads a salt-slushy. Not vintage friendly riding conditions.

I assume one end of the tie-downs is attached firmly to the ground but what about the other ends? Something cool those are attached to? Tail-dragger? Nose-pusher? HW? LW?

My retirement present to myself. Grega GN-1 (Pietenpol based homebuilt). 85 raging horses, no electrical system, 70 knots cruise at 2300 rpm. Built/completed in 1992, I've been her caretaker for 3 years now- we're still getting to know each other!

Glorious warm sunny day; what a change from the constant rain and cold we have in Blighty these last weeks.
4 Hours gardening this morning. Loping a Holly tree that was threatening to pull down my phone lines. General tidy up of the aftermath.
Then you look over your handiwork and think "Sod it, it don't look any different". No wonder I hate gardening!

Meanwhile in Arizona….😲

“…“on track to break a local record for the longest stretch of 90-degree days in the month of March, according to the National Weather Service. The extreme heat will kick off on March 18, with a high of 102 degrees.
“It will also mark the earliest 100-degree temperature in Phoenix's recorded history. The previous record was set nearly 40 years ago, on March 26, 1988, the weather service said. After that, the Valley was expected to see five 100-degree days in a row.
On March 20 and 21, temperatures could rise as high as 106 degrees. That would be the earliest watermark in Phoenix history, shattering a state record last set nearly eighty years ago, on May 2, 1947, according to the water service.”
